Led by the husband-and-wife team of Drs. Craig and Marcy Goldin, the Cosmetic Dentistry Institute holds a unique honor among dental offices: All of its dentists have earned 黑料网 Detroit Top Dentist recognition since the award’s inception. “This honor is a testament to our caring for our patients and our love of dentistry,” says Dr. Craig Goldin, a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
In addition to the local and national awards, Dr. Craig Goldin is the only Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in eastern Michigan and has received multiple gold medals in Smile Gallery competitions conducted by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
The Cosmetic Dentistry Institute’s new office is yet another testament to its commitment to quality. If the refreshment bar, massage chair, paraffin wax hand treatments, and warm, friendly staff don’t put patients at ease, then perhaps sinking into a Tempur-Pedic-cushioned dental chair or watching a movie on a personal DVD player will.
Amenities aside, the Cosmetic Dentistry Institute’s dentists continue to offer many new dental technologies, such as Teeth Tomorrow. For patients whose mouth pain and physical and emotional discomfort stem from hopeless teeth, Teeth Tomorrow Prettau zirconia implant bridges are an alternative to traditional dentures. The benefits of this procedure include less chair time, less discomfort, and rapid results that are immediate and durable.
As an instructor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Marcy Goldin is at the forefront of these new dental technologies. “I want to encourage the next generation of dentists to have the same passion for excellence and patient welfare, and to realize that learning doesn’t stop at graduation,” she says.
The Cosmetic Dentistry Institute was named the top cosmetic dental practice in the country, winning the Cosmetic Practice of the Year award. The recipient is chosen from among hundreds of practices nationwide. While all phases of general dentistry are provided at the Cosmetic Dentistry Institute, superior cosmetic dentistry skills are what sets this team apart. Featured technologies include digital X-ray equipment, Invisalign braces, surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, and the CEREC Omnicam, which makes it possible to create custom-fit ceramic crowns in just one hour.
One final way the office addresses patient comfort is through the use of sedation dentistry for patients who are uncomfortable in the dental office. “At our office,” Dr. David Whalen says, “everything we do is for the comfort and best interests of our patients.”
