The is turning 77 this year, and they鈥檙e celebrating the milestone at one of the most unique, and iconic, homes in Plymouth.
On Oct. 15, 2022, Walt Menard, a local philanthropist, art collector, music lover, and 鈥淧lymouth鈥檚 most eligible bachelor,鈥 opens his custom-built home on Deer Street in Plymouth to help support this year鈥檚 season.
His home is an original to the area and includes a theater, wine cellar, lounge deck, and a bridge that connects the front of the home to the back. Guests will also be able to see his personal art collection.
This strolling experience runs from 6-9 p.m. and features live music from the Philharmonic, along with wine, drinks, and an assortment of light food.
In addition, guests will have the opportunity to purchase some of Menard鈥檚 art collection, with 10% of those proceeds going to benefit the Michigan Philharmonic.
Tickets are limited to 100 and are available for $77 through the Michigan Philharmonic鈥檚 website.
The 77th Season of the Michigan Philharmonic 听
The Michigan Philharmonic鈥檚 2022 season kicked off on Sept. 24, 2022, with a night of enchanting night of music by pianists Anastasia Rizikov and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
Their next performance is their Halloween show, Philharmonic Phright Night, which a spooky line-up of tunes including Michael Jackson鈥檚 Thriller, performed by the talented musicians of the Phil on Oct. 22.
The organization will host their Veteran鈥檚 Tribute on Nov. 11, 2022, and their holiday show, Holiday Pops with the Phil, on Dec. 8, 2022.
After the new year, catch Miniature Masterpieces 鈥斕齅agical Mahler on Jan. 22, Jerry Herman: The Broadway Legacy on Feb. 11, Music in 3-D on March 19, and Overture for Our Earth on April 23.
