Variety Children’s Charity of Detroit hosted its Hearts & Stars Gala on Oct. 22 at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Guests enjoyed dinner and a show by Mark Randisi and The Motor City Horns. Lila Lazarus, an Emmy Award-winning news anchor and health reporter, served as the event’s master of ceremonies. The evening benefited Variety’s core programs, which provide support to children with unique and special needs.
