2018听LINCOLN NAVIGATOR
SUVs now dominate American highways, but few can come close to delivering the dramatic presence 鈥 never mind the wealth of luxury features 鈥 found in the 2018 Lincoln Navigator.
Two decades after Lincoln invented the full-size luxury ute with the original Navigator, we got our first chance to take the all-new 2018 model for an extended drive 鈥 and we were struck by what the luxury marque has come up with. As always, the new Navigator boasts more than ample room for an extended family. It also delivers the sort of power that will let you blast down the freeway even while towing a large boat trailer or RV.
Lincoln steps things up for 2018 with an assortment of new features, ranging from its latest-generation Sync3 infotainment system to an array of smart safety technologies like forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking.
On the outside, the 2018 Navigator gets a more modern and elegant look. It picks up many of the design cues introduced on Lincoln鈥檚 latest sedan flagship, the Continental, starting with its distinctive and striking grille. Inside, you鈥檒l find the sort of refined touches and lavish materials 鈥 think layers of wood, leather, and chrome 鈥 you鈥檇 expect from a traditional premium sedan, not a beefy SUV.
There鈥檚 also the latest in infotainment technology, including a 12-inch touchscreen up front and a pair of additional screens in back. The industry鈥檚 biggest heads-up display system helps drivers keep their eyes on the road.
The new Navigator is powered by a 450-hp EcoBoost V-6 that delivers a honking 450 hp and 510 lb.-ft. of torque. With its all-wheel-drive, that鈥檚 enough to keep you moving smoothly anywhere you want to go.
Lincoln not only invented the full-size luxury SUV but, as it proves with the new 2018 ground-up remake, Navigator continues to dominate the road.
