Question: Tell us about your father, Joseph Lobb and what he means to you and your family?
Answer: Joseph Lobb was everything to me and my family. Words fall short when trying to describe his impact on our lives. He exuded quiet confidence and sophistication that served him well in life. His grit, determination, and passion for justice led him to founding the Lobb law firm in 1976. He built a successful law firm founded on putting people first and treating everyone like family. He was a leader in the truest sense of the word and the pillar of our family. His legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us by the example of living fully and with vitality. If I had to choose one word to describe my father, it would be successful. The words of Ralph Waldo Emerson come to mind, 鈥淪uccessful is the person who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of children, who leaves the world better than they found it, who has never lacked appreciation for the earth鈥檚 beauty, who never fails to look for the best in others or to give the best of themselves.鈥 This quote embodies my father; he did all of that and more in his lifetime.
Question: Can you share your experience during this transition to Owner of the firm?
Answer: The transition into owning the firm has brought me mixed emotions. I am navigating the delicate balance of upholding my father鈥檚 legacy while finding my stride. The transition has made me mindful and purposeful about my choices. I am honored that my father passed the baton to me, and I intend to run with it.
Question: What strategies do you have in place to honor your father鈥檚 legacy while also establishing your own path in this journey?
Answer: My strategy is to uphold the foundation my father built when establishing the Lobb Law firm while expanding on those values. I am committed to telling the story of our family-owned law firm, which is dedicated to justice and honor for its clients, through my lens. With this transition, I aim to examine our why and focus on our roots and purpose as we take our narrative into the future. The first step in this critical process was rebranding the firm. The new branding embodies the future of the Lobb Law firm.
Question: The rebranding appears to embody a superhero. Can you explain how this concept originated and what it signifies for you as a champion of personal injury victims?
Answer: Branding is more than a logo or tagline; it is a message you send to the community about who you are and what you stand for. We all have an association with superheroes from childhood; we know they appear in the story when needed most and, through extraordinary powers, turn tragedy into triumph. At the Lobb Law firm, we do just that for our clients. We are the superheroes in our client鈥檚 stories. Our firm has been dedicated to assisting seriously injured accident victims for over forty years. As a family, we have devoted our lives to using our law knowledge and decades of legal experience to ensure our clients receive superior representation. The symbol of the superhero sends a clear message to our community that we are here for them. We are here to be the hero in their story.
Question: Why does personal injury law hold such significance for you and your team?
Answer: Our team chose a career in law because of their passion for justice. We are committed to helping our clients, in their most vulnerable moments, understand their rights under the law. Personal injury law boils down to simply caring about people and wanting to use your knowledge and experience of the law to help them when they most need guidance. Our firm鈥檚 passion for justice and commitment to being the hero in our client鈥檚 story make the perfect recipe for success.
Question: What are your aspirations for the next five years?
Answer: I aspire to grow the Lobb Law firm and continue to honor my father by expanding our firm鈥檚 reach. I plan to continue to grow in my leadership position with the firm and begin a non profit to help victims of domestic violence.
Question: One of the well-known slogans associated with The Lobb Law Firm is, 鈥淲e fight for your justice so you can rest easy.鈥 How crucial is it for an individual injured in an accident to have a committed team advocating against the insurance company on their behalf?
Answer: It is imperative for individuals injured in accidents to have a committed team advocating on their behalf with the insurance agency. No one should try to settle a claim independently because, simply put, the insurance adjuster works for the insurance company. Individuals injured in accidents must hire a legal professional team with experience and knowledge to protect their best interests.
Question: Can you share a piece of advice from your father that would be valuable for others as we approach 2025?
Answer: One piece of advice we could all take from my father circles back to my first answer. We could all learn from how Joseph Lobb lived his life. He was the epitome of success in every right. As we approach 2025, remember and embody Ralph Waldo Emerson鈥檚 words. Go forward living well, laughing often and loving much, gain the respect of children, and aim to leave the world better than you found it. Never lack appreciation for the earth鈥檚 beauty, and never fail to look for the best in others or to give the best of themselves.
