Sports fans have something new to cheer about with the grand opening of the country鈥檚 first-ever DraftKings Sports & Social venue opening early December in Troy, Michigan.
The new destination is a collaboration between industry titans DraftKings Inc. and Live! Hospitality & Entertainment.
While the location is a first, it fills a niche that has long existed for sports enthusiasts and thrill-seekers everywhere. It combines the traditional sports bar environment fans love with betting, elevated dining, social & arcade games and a packed roster of live entertainment.
Guests can enjoy an immersive viewing experience, cheer on their team at home or away over premier food and drink or add some excitement to the game by wagering a bet.
A Premier Game Day Destination
Conveniently located in metro Detroit, DraftKings Sports & Social will offer the electric atmosphere that fans typically associate with the stadium or arena. It promises a first-of-its-kind experience that combines the best in live sports, entertainment and dining.
Fans can see every detail with a 32-foot LED media wall showing multiple live games. Meanwhile, emcees, DJs, fan-cams, and cutting-edge audio and visual displays will all add to the excitement of game day.
Guests can get in on the action, too, by placing bets and playing daily fantasy sports 鈥 including football, basketball, baseball, golf, MMA, soccer, and tennis 鈥 using DraftKings鈥 user-friendly mobile platforms.
ICRAVE, an internationally acclaimed strategy, design, and development firm, designed the 10,400-square-foot space. It will include an exclusive lounge where guests can host private parties and events. Outside, visitors can dine, enjoy live music and kick back on a dog-friendly outdoor patio.
Setting the Standard for Dining and Entertainment
Gone are the days when sports fans had to choose between upscale dining and a premier game-watching experience. DraftKings Sports & Social will serve scratch, chef-prepared lunch and dinner menus seven days a week, along with brunch on weekends.
Diners can enjoy elegant takes on fan favorites, including hearty burgers, house-brined wings, nachos, and sandwiches. Those seeking lighter fare can sample healthy salads and grain bowls. The extensive drinks menu includes signature crush cocktails, local craft beers and nationally recognized brews.
Rotating food and beverage focused events will include a brunch experience on Saturdays and Sundays. This will feature tried-and-true favorites, including chicken & bliss, avocado toast, savory breakfast skillets and the venue鈥檚 famous #brunchtails table drinks.
An ongoing program of live offerings will provide guests access to the best in music and entertainment. For those seeking a little friendly competition, the venue will also offer a wide variety of social games, from skeeball, beirut, foosball and shuffle puck to arcade games.
